Matrix is an open network for secure, decentralised communication.
Hashi Project chose Matrix as the instant messaging service implementation after comparing several projects. Matrix is a decentralized open source end-to-end encrypted IM implementation that supports private chats, group chats, channel-like space functionality, audio and video calls with custom emoticons, and more. Matrix’s federation feature allows you to communicate with users from multiple other servers on a single Matrix server.
You can also directly fill in our server address in other Matrix clients:
What does Haty mean?
Haty is spelled Hashi Chat Party.
How are Haty’s additional features such as calls implemented?
We have hosted software such as Element-Call, Thirdroom, and others that also use the Matrix protocol to implement additional functionality. As for customizing emoticons, you will need to use this project to implement them on your own.
Do you have the Matrix client?
Sure! Our client is called Vickie and is based on a second development of Element. You can learn more about it at this website.
